About

My name is Gema, a 20 year old Photography Degree student studying at East London University.
I’ve been snapping away ever since I was little when I was given my first camera – I can’t remember what it was but it was a terrible little film thing.
I first pursued photography whilst doing an art GCSE (I got bored with drawing and painting), and continued it on to A Level, and now the foundation degree.
I have some sort of addiction with collecting cameras and now own 20 of them, ranging from the 1930’s to the present day.

I’m still a keen artist, and will happily spend hours drawing or painting portraits.

  1. Wonderful! I find ‘people’ the most difficult to shoot but often the most satisfying when it goes right. I have on occasions got into a bit of trouble as I am a old bearded bloke! I doubt if there is anyone in the land that would object to your taking their image! Dave H.

  2. Thoughts and senses can be turned up to be realistic only when one has the eyes to capture what actually is needed and seems that you have that… all the best… for opting a good career… Regards

  16. Nice shot—can you imagine how it would freak the more observant were you to reverse it … (I hate myself sometimes).
