The work and performance: Of Sandra Lousada exhibition
You can find this delightful little exhibition downstairs by the cafe at the National Portrait Gallery until the 20th May 2012.
It’s a celebration of her fifty-year career as (a truly inspiring) photographer. The one thing I particularly loved about this exhibition is that there are contact sheets on display for the first time. One being of James Fox and Sarah Miles – I loved being able to see the rest of the shots from the shoot and comparing to the final chosen image.
My favourite photographs on display are those that were featured in Queen magazine in the 1960’s mostly of Jean Shrimpton and Celia Hammond who both made for great models.
